Humane Education

We offer virtual education to children of all ages. We bring the sanctuary right into your classroom through virtual tours. Or, plan a day to visit and spend the day on our rural property. We offer the opportunity to meet many Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) standards through humane education and science standards through conservation education. It is our responsibility to learn how we, individually and as a human collective, impact the world in which we live, each other, and our fellow residents here on Earth.

To enable all students to experience our sanctuary, we offer educational tours to children free of charge.

Why Go Vegan?

There are many reasons why 2.5 million people have adopted a vegan lifestyle. The three primary reasons are the animals, the environment, and personal health. Read more below to learn some quick facts about how veganism helps these three areas. (Even reducing the amount of meat you eat can make a huge impact!)

VEGAN FOR THE ANIMALS

Every day you live a vegan lifestyle, you save countless animals' lives. 99% of the meat consumed in America comes from factory farms where animals suffer lifelong abuse, confinement, and disease before they are slaughtered.

VEGAN FOR THE EARTH

There is enough food in the world to feed every starving person. Instead, millions of pounds of grain and gallons of water go to producing livestock for a small amount of food.

VEGAN FOR MY HEALTH

Doctors now agree that a plant-based diet is the healthiest choice. It lowers/eliminates the risk of many common illnesses, including heart disease and high cholesterol.
