Take in the serene views of Tamerlaine, go for a hike on our historic 336-acre property, and feel free to bring a picnic or get take-out from our local vegan restaurant Fogwood & Fig. (Fogwood & Fig is open Friday-Sunday)

All food brought on to the sanctuary must be vegan out of respect for our animals.

**Did you know you can take the train or bus from NYC Penn Station to our sanctuary? Take NJ Transit to Port Jervis, NY or The Shortline Bus to Port Jervis, NY. You can then catch a cab to the Sanctuary from there. You must call in advance for a cab. The service in the country can be slow. Link to cab companies.

Student tours cater to different ages, interests, and needs, and are led by our very own humane educator. You’ll be surprised by what you learn and how loving and unique our rescued animals are.
